Optom Help is designed for Optometrists, Managers and practice staff to help them better understand their computer systems and to reduce their workload.

Optom Help is the work of David O'Neill and Looking Smart Optometrists. It suggests ways of using Optomate by decreasing workload and increasing productivity. Double handling is reduced, however no one is perfect. Because Optomate is a work in progress, Optom Help also is continuously improving.

David O'Neill is an Optometrist with IT experience. He practices out of Pelican Waters on the Sunshine Coast. David's experience in Optomate comes from both managing his own practice and he was also responsible for developing Optomate for a 10 practice group in Queensland called Premier Optique for over 2 years. He served in a technical support role as well as being an Optometrist.

Currently there is not a function in Optomate that David's practice does not use. Furthermore he uses other technology to improve his patient base, increase productivity and make profit for his business. Saying this, David is not the source of Optomate. Monkey Software has developed this product and should remain the primary technical support for Optomate.

What David wishes out of Optom Help is to provide others with knowledge to improve their own businesses.
